Hey y'all, I'm Kaela.
How did I get here? Well......
When I was 15, I was gifted my first Nikon camera that was glued to my hip for a majority of my time in high school. Working on the yearbook staff was my excuse to ask for the camera, but in reality I wanted it so I could start practicing a dream of mine - photography. As I started getting more comfortable being the lens, I would occasionally ask my closest friends if we could go to the park so I could get some quick pictures of them in an open field - better yet my favorite was asking them to stand in the middle of the road so I could test my bokeh (they REALLY didn't get what I was talking about). But as the years went on and I started college, photography became more of a passion rather than a hobby.
Fast forward to now as I start my career, Photos by Kaela Jean is a jumpstart into something that I look forward to doing for a long time - capturing your fondest memories.
